Magnesium chloride hexahydrate, 32.5 mg/ml
Cattle:
Indications:
Acute calcium deficiency, postparturient hypocalcaemia (milk fever).
Concomitant treatment in allergies.
Posology:
Intramuscular or subcutaneous use.
Cattle:
– Acute calcium deficiency and postparturient hypocalcaemia: 400-440 ml/500 kg b.w.
– Concomitant treatment of allergies: 200-300 ml/500 kg b.w.
Calves: 30 ml/50 kg b.w.
A single treatment is usually adequate, only in special cases a second administration is required.
Pigs:
Indications:
Puerperal tetany (eclampsia).
Concomitant treatment in allergies.
Posology:
Intramuscular or subcutaneous use.
Adults: 30 ml/50 kg b.w.
Piglets: 3 ml/5 kg b.w.
