Cattle:
Indications:
Treatment of acute inflammation associated with respiratory tract diseases, symptomatic treatment of endotoxemia by E. coli.
Posology:
Slow intravenous route. In case of inflammations associated with respiratory tract diseases, administer 0.44 ml of LHIFLUNEX per 10 kg b.w. For the treatment of symptoms produced by E. coliendotoxins, administer 0.22 ml of LHIFLUNEX per 10 kg of b. w. The treatment may be repeated every 24 h for a maximum of 5 days.
Horses:
Indications:
Treatment of visceral pain associated with colic, treatment of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders; modulation of clinical pathological alterations associated with endotoxemia.
Posology:
Slow intravenous or intramuscular route. In case of visceral pain associated with colic, administer 0.22 ml of LHIFLUNEX per 10 kg b.w. intravenously when symptoms start. Treatment may be repeated 1 or 2 times if symptoms reappear. The cause of colic should be determined and treated with concomitant therapy. In case of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal alterations and in the modulation of pathological clinical signs of endotoxemia, administer 0.22 ml of LHIFLUNEX per 10 kg of b.w. intravenously. This can be repeated for 5 days.
Dogs:
Indications:
Indicated as complementary therapy in the treatment of septic and endotoxic shock or relief of pain in musculoskeletal disorders. In cases where corticosteroids are contraindicated.
Posology:
Intravenous or subcutaneous route. For the treatment of endotoxic shock, administer 0.22 ml of LHIFLUNEX per 10 kg of body weight intravenously every 12 hours to a maximum of 3 doses. It is essential to include antibacterial therapy and fluid therapy. In the case of musculoskeletal disorders, administer 0.22 ml of LHIFLUNEX per 10 kg body weight subcutaneously once daily for 3 days.
